pay for your lunch with kindness

Cash is king? Pah. Money makes the world go round? Tsk. This Friday and Saturday, there’s a cafe that takes only one kind of currency and that’s kindness. Yup, in exchange for a pledge of an act of kindness, you wonderful people will get a delicious plant-based lunch for free courtesy of lovely vegan brand Gosh Food.

Back for its second year, the premise really is that simple: promise any act of kindness to a human or animal (from donating to the homeless to doing the washing up or just being nicer in general!), pin it to the pledge wall and get your free Plant Pot lunch snack, that’s not just Vegan Society-approved, but free from the top 14 allergens. Goodies include Moroccan falafel salad and zesty sweet potato pakora salad. Yum!

So all you have to do is head to Brighton’s New Road on 12th and 13th July between 11.00am and 3.00pm – you can’t miss them! Plus, if you share a snap of your act of kindness on the ‘Gram with the tag ‘#Kindness is Currency’, you’ll be in with the chance of winning a month’s supply of the company’s plant-based food. Happy lunching, kind-hearted Brightoners and Hove-ites!
