The Fringe and the Festival may be over, but there are still heaps of exciting things going on in the city. Each week, we’ll be bringing you our top pick of the week. This week it’s the See you Next Tuesday! comedy night:
See You Next Tuesday! at the Artista Cafe & Gallery
If you like your comedy venues on the intimate side, then you’ll love this super-friendly little gem that’s tucked away down a Hove side street. Tuesday is open mic and new material night – every week, 15 different comedians (big TV names have been known to drop in, too) get 5 to 10 minutes to try out their freshest new gags at the independent arts space. Many are hilarious, a couple bomb, but it’s always a fun night and, to quote the venue, it’s certainly “never mediocre”. We’re big fans. Get there early for a drink and a chat as space is seriously limited.
