New year, new… wardrobe? We’d certainly be happy with that. As we kickstart a new year, we’re focusing less on the ‘new me’ and more on the ‘new experiences’, so a local clothes swap is just the thing, surely? If you’re edging towards a bit of a clear out anyway, then this may be the little push you need, as the lovely team at the Brighthelm Community Centre are hosting a clothes swap later this week.
We’d recommend raiding your wardrobes, cupboards and drawers and heading down there on Thursday 10th January. It’s not just clothes you can ditch either, as there will be plenty of shoes and accessories to choose from, too. Bring your other half, best mate, or pop down there on your tod, as you’ll definitely pick up a few bargains and quite possibly some new friends.
Make sure all your items are clean and in good nick, swap them up for tokens and away you go. You’ll receive one token for every item and you can bring up to ten to swap. If you haven’t had a chance for a clear out just yet then just bring yourself along and you can buy tokens for only 50p each on the door. Happy swapping!
