book now: the pool’s life honestly on tour

We’re a big fan of multimedia platform The Pool. Set up by Lauren Laverne and Sam Baker a few years ago, it puts out topical, funny, interesting and thought-provoking content. So when we heard they were going on tour with their recently published first book, Life Honestly, we snapped up tickets sharpish.

Don’t worry if you haven’t read it yet, as your ticket price includes a copy of the inspirational collection of essays on modern life, all penned by a host of talented women writers.

Now, a selection of those writers – including the marvellous Brighton-based beauty journalist, author and broadcaster Sali Hughes – are bringing an evening of discussion inspired by the book to Brighton on 6th November.

The evening will be hosted by Sam Baker and will also feature journalists Sophie Heawood, Robyn Wilder and Kuba Shand-Baptiste, who will be dissecting some of our favourite topics across culture, politics, writing and relationships.

Empowering and honest discussion by inspirational women (oh and drinks!), what’s not to love?
