book now: friends-themed festival comes to brighton

It’s back. The ultimate event for fans of Friends, FriendsFest, is on tour again, bringing all the best bits from the much-loved sitcom to the UK. And, this time around it’s coming to Brighton’s Preston Park – hurrah!

Organisers Comedy Central and Luna Cinema have announced that for the first time there will be a full-scale replica of Ross’ apartment (aka Ugly Naked Guy’s former home) and the chance to recreate the painfully funny PIVOT! scene on the staircase yourselves…

In addition to all that, you’ll be able fuss over details in an exact replica of Monica’s apartment (complete with the frame peep hole, of course), recline in the ultimate La-Z-Boy chairs chez Chandler and Joey, gossip in the iconic corridor, get ‘married’ in Ross & Rachel’s chapel of love or even recreate the fountain scene from the opening titles.

But, of course, it wouldn’t be Friends without Central Perk. Gunther may not be on hand to dish out the coffees and the critiques, but we’ll be there for you (we might not be, but we couldn’t resist the reference).

Saturday and Sunday are already sold out, so if you want to guarantee a spot on that famous sofa, you better get in there quickly…
