the best pride brunches in brighton & hove

In a week’s time, Pride celebrations will be in full swing, where both sequins and (bio-degradable) glitter are basic essentials and you need a pride brunch to match. The annual Pride Community Parade is the biggest visual event in Brighton & Hove’s calendar, with over 300,000 people taking to the streets to participate. This year’s Brighton Pride Carnival Of Diversity Community Parade is guaranteed to fill the streets of the city with love, laughter and colour as always. If you haven’t decided where you’re going to be setting up camp to see it in all its glory, take a look at some of these fun brunch parties happening along the route!

Pride of place at The Salt Room (featured image) The Salt Room’s Botanical Terrace will be hosting their Brighton Pride Party again this year, inviting guests to join them from 10.30am on Saturday 6th August for a celebratory brunch with a prime parade-watching spot. Along with one of the best views, you’ll have your pick of five drinks from their special Pride menu. We like the sound of that! They’ve also got a live DJ to provide a Pride power playlist and a glitter artist to give you the right amount of sparkle for the occasion. There will be free-flowing savoury and sweet canapés including baked scallops with nduja butter and orange, seaweed crumpets with cured salmon, cream cheese and chives and… wait for it… PRIDE MACARONS. Yum. £5 of every ticket will be donated to The Brighton Rainbow Fund.
Saturday 4th August, 10.30am – 12.30pm; £110 brunch (five Pride drinks and canapés on the terrace)
The Salt Room, 106 Kings Rd, Brighton BN1 2FU
