The Pond on Gloucester Road is a firm BOTI favourite when it comes to Brighton pubs that deliver on cosy vibes, good beer and beautiful buns. So you can imagine our joy when we heard the team were waddling their way over to Upper North Street, where they’ll be opening their newest bar; Easy Tiger.
The pop-up bar and kitchen will be at The Hampton, where they are collaborating with ex-Curry Leaf Cafe hero Kanthi Kiran Thamma. His Indian cuisine is some of the best in the city, so we have no doubt that every dish is going to taste grrreat (sorry). Expect a genuine Indian toddy shop culinary experience! Their soft launch menu includes Masala Fish and Chips, Coorg Pandi Ribs and an impressive veggie platter.
Doing what they do best, they’ll be bringing the warmth of The Pond to a second home, showing the lucky Montpelier community how passionate they are about good food and drink served with an honest smile. And they have great smiles. Following a quick refurb, they have now opened their doors and they are ready for you!
