We’re rainbow deep in pre-Pride parties this week, warming up for the main event that hits the city on Saturday. Our sequin hotpants are being dusted off and we’ve got glitter at the ready, so if, like us, you’re looking for a little Pride warm-up, we’ve got the perfect colourful party to get things started.
This Wednesday 1st August The Walrus is hosting a Pride supper club, bringing their most Instagrammble menu yet to their lucky guests. Because everyone wants to fill their feed with colour every day of the week, especially during Pride, right? Packed full of bright hues, their Pride-inspired menu will be a thing of colourful beauty, featuring rainbow shots and rainbow delight. Join them from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm dinner to experience a taste of the rainbow as you indulge in their four-course menu. To get you in the Pride party spirit, you’ll get three drinks, including those rainbow shots, as well as cocktails.
Tickets are only £24.50 and include four colourful courses and three drinks each. Not bad at all! Here’s what’s on the menu:
- Chicken lollipops three ways – Vietnamese, Italian and Mexican
- Pan-fried salmon & rainbow chard, with carrot & spinach mousse, beetroot and saffron sauce
- Roasted goats’ cheese & pancetta salad, with raspberry & balsamic vinaigrette
- Rainbow delight with heaps of whipped cream
