book now: lost nights in the lanes

Lost in the Lanes popped up on Nile Street in August 2017 and it’s been a welcome addition to Brighton’s Historic Quarter. Their salads are heavenly and they’ve got damn good coffee, too, so we were chuffed to see they recently opened a spin-off cafe on the ground floor of The Projects on Ship Street, to fuel co-workers at the new collaborative workspace.

Eighteen months into their LOST adventures and their self-taught head chef, James Flavell, will be hosting the first supper club in their Lost Nightsseries on Thursday 21st February. They’ve developed a tasty sounding five-course dinner (starting with snacks) which includes oyster mushroom, raw scallop, curried cauliflower and braised lamb, finished off with forced rhubarb, mascarpone and white chocolate. Yes, please! All that, a welcome drink and a little gift bag for just £45 per person. There’s the option to go all out and add a wine pairing on the night for £35pp, too. A nice little post-Valentine-madness date night perhaps?

As their first supper club is an intimate affair with just 16 tickets available, unfortunately, they won’t be able to offer veggie or vegan alternatives this time around. But the good news is it’s something they’re already planning for future events as they are big plant-based food fans. Enjoy!
