brighton’s 201 dance company do it again with kylie dance tribute
Remember last year’s Britney tribute video from 201 Dance Company that went viral? Well, the troupe are back and, this year, it’s all about Kylie as they dance their way around key Brighton landmarks, from Brighton Palace Pier and The Lanes to new arrival the Upside Down House, to the music of her latest single ‘New York City’.
Teaming up again with filmmaker Ben Mark, choreographer and director Andrea Walker (the brains behind the Britney tribute) gathered some of Brighton’s best dance talent, including lead dancer Monique Matthews, to put together a terpsichorean tribute to the pint-sized popstrel ahead of her performance at this year’s Pride. Look out for Kylie’s special ‘cameo’ by the merry-go-round on the beach…
Kylie’s performing at Brighton & Hove Pride on the 3rd August, but you can get yourselves in the mood before then by watching the 201 Dance Company video!
